WOMEN IN FILM FOUNDATION’S FILM FINISHING FUND

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE …..APRIL 10, 2013, LOS ANGELES…The Women In Film Foundation Film Finishing Fund is pleased to announce that Netflix has signed on for a fifth straight year as a major grant contributor.
“We are excited by the continuation of our relationship with Netflix for the coming application period,” said Film Finishing Fund Co-Chair Betsy Pollock. “Netflix has offered not only financial support to the Fund, but consultation to each of our grantees. This is has been of enormous benefit in the past and we are so happy to be able to extend the offer to this year’s winners.”

Previous Film Finishing Fund applicants and awardees include Academy Award®-winning documentaries Freeheld and Maya Lin: A Strong Clear Vision.
Netflix was brought into Women In Film in 2009 by then-Chair of the Women In Film Foundation, actress Sharon Lawrence along with Foundation Trustee Debbie Bossi and Cindy Holland. The 2013 grant cycle closes on April 29, 2013.
